What to consider when choosing business VoIP, SIP connectivity or a cloud phone system.

BUSINESS CALLING EXPLAINED

Your VoIP questions, answered.

What is business VoIP?

Voice over Internet Protocol carries voice calls over an internet connection. A business VoIP setup combines connectivity with the phone applications, numbers and call handling your team needs. You can use compatible softphones, IP phones or a supported browser-based platform.

Can I make international business calls?

International calling can be scoped around your destination countries and use case. Number availability, caller ID, required documents and permitted traffic vary by country and provider. Share the countries you need so the applicable options can be confirmed before setup.

Do you provide Indian business calling solutions?

Digipillar offers domestic business communication solutions. The appropriate setup depends on your business, deployment location, number requirements and calling use case. Ask for a requirements review to confirm availability and onboarding documents.

Can I keep my existing PBX or dialer?

Possibly. Share the platform name, version, current carrier arrangement and how you want calls to flow. Compatibility, authentication and media handling need to be reviewed before connecting a SIP trunk or migrating service.

What internet connection do I need?

A stable connection matters more than a headline speed alone. Available bandwidth, latency, jitter, packet loss, Wi-Fi conditions and the number of simultaneous calls all affect the experience. Test representative calls on the network agents will actually use.

How is pricing calculated?

A quote may include users or extensions, numbers, concurrent calls, destination-based usage, selected platform features, onboarding and applicable taxes. Ask for the billing increment, minimum commitment and any number or setup fees in writing.

Will every call show a local caller ID?

Caller ID depends on the destination, number ownership, provider capabilities and applicable requirements. A local number does not guarantee that every outbound call can display that number. Confirm the intended caller ID and route before purchase.

Can the system include call recording or CRM integration?

These can be considered as part of the selected solution. Recording controls, storage, access, retention and the exact CRM workflow should be agreed during scoping. A feature being available on one platform does not mean it is included in every plan.

How long does setup take?

Setup depends on documents, number provisioning, route availability, integration work and testing. We can discuss an expected timeline after reviewing your requirements; do not plan a launch date until the dependencies are confirmed.

How do I request a demo or quote?

Use the shared Digipillar contact form. Enter your requirements and verify your mobile number with an SMS code before submitting. Your enquiry is emailed to our sales team. You can also reach us at sales@digipillar.com or through the WhatsApp link on this site.

Does phone verification confirm someone’s identity?

The SMS code confirms access to the entered phone number at the time of verification. It is not identity verification, business verification or a substitute for any onboarding checks required for a telecom service.

Can teams work from different locations?

A suitable cloud or softphone-based setup can support distributed teams. Network quality, supported devices, access controls and the permitted deployment arrangement should be checked for each location before rollout.
